Intermediate Occupational Certificate: Cleaning Practitioner
For the supervisors who run your cleaning contracts: managing operations, people and service level agreements.
Who it’s for
Cleaning supervisors, team leaders and experienced cleaners you want to promote. Learners need an NQF Level 2 qualification to enrol.
What the qualification prepares learners for
A Cleaning Practitioner supervises cleaning services to customer requirements, as set out in the service level agreement, while looking after organisational resources and the safety of staff, the customer and the customer’s clients. The two exit-level outcomes are to:
- manage the cleaning operation
- develop human resources within the required parameters
The qualification is made up of compulsory knowledge, practical skill and work experience modules.
How we deliver it
On-site at your premises anywhere in South Africa, or at our Gauteng venue, so supervisors complete their work experience on the contracts they actually run.
Planning a path for your staff
Most cleaners start with the Commercial Cleaner certificate at NQF 1. Because the Cleaning Practitioner needs an NQF Level 2 qualification first, ask us how to plan a progression for the people you want to promote.
